Pen and Pencil Box
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
A revision of a pencil sharpener ( http://smortegav.blogspot.com/2020/12/the-improved-and-safer-pencil-sharpener.html for the backstory) was what got me started on this little project. The box is 8 inches square and 2 inches deep. I was going to make it with a hinge and latch; just when I thought pencil boxes were a thing of the past, when getting ready to post this project, I saw another pencil box with the same latch I was going to use- see last photo. Like the other poster, I used scraps and forewent a hinge and latch construction to avoid having to shop or order anything. I also wanted something that could fit in a toolbox when traveling and serve as a holder on a desk/work top. More at this link: http://smortegav.blogspot.com/2021/01/pencil-and-pen-box.html
