Find magic in the mundane using this humble problem solver. One of the most important lessons I've learned as a woodworker is to never underestimate the seemingly mundane. I have found great utility in common household materials: old Tupperware, measuring …Source

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

Restored 'teachers' chair

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

These I built our on new red oak.New castors completed the job. The chair was stained and topcoat with Varathane clear finish. The colors were chosen to match the two desks I made for the grandkid-students in their classroom (in our home). My wife's father was a professor of engineering, and so it is fitting that his favourite chair would pass on to his teacher-daughter.
