The axe requires some repair and is at a friends house that it a welder. So to kill some time I made a handle for this little guy. The handle is just a straight grained 2×4 pine cause I don't have any hickory handy. It measures a exact 21inch long. Possibly a bit to long for this head but it handles well (pun intended). I dug very deep into the handle making discussion on a forum a while back and one fella said something that makes sense. He said something along the lines of if I'm making the handle I can make it from anything I want and if it breaks I'll just make another. And as PaMac says it ain't gotta be perfect, it just has to be. And be it is, it cuts like a dream. Thanks for reading
