Desk Clock

I built this Desk Clock by using a vintage Mickey Thompson
connecting rod mounted on a wood base and fitted with
a quarts clock movement in the big end.
The rods came out of an engine that exploded and the
marks from the explosion are visible
I would like to build and sell more of them but getting the rods
is getting harder and harder.

Lathe Collet Chuck Box

Thought it was about time to discard the cardboard box my Beall Collet chuck was shipped in for a timber one.Used,

1. Incra IBox on tablesaw.
2. 12mm pine.
3. Merbeau decking scraps.
4. Brass clasps (Bunnings)
5. Titebond III glue.
6. Beall Collet chuck.
7. Foam block (original supply).
8. Wipe-on-poly finish (3 coats).
