I built this Desk Clock by using a vintage Mickey Thompson connecting rod mounted on a wood base and fitted with
a quarts clock movement in the big end.
The rods came out of an engine that exploded and the
marks from the explosion are visible
I would like to build and sell more of them but getting the rods
is getting harder and harder.
