Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
I making a bread box with a tambour door. I was gonna use some sort of canvas, maybe a drop cloth material and glue it to the pieces. What sort of adhesive would be best for this approach?

Oak crotch table legs
Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
A friend of mine has an Alaskan mill. He and I are always swapping favors and he brought me this slab a couple of years ago. It's been upstairs in my shop since then and I finally decided to flatten it out and do something with it. I think it will make a nice small table, but I've never made this type of furniture before and can't decide what kind of legs to use. I'm asking for ideas. At first I thought maybe some natural tree limbs with the bark stripped off, but decided against it. What do you all think? https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b0QDrpf...ztrzKYlNfA

I need a mini table saw
Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
I have begun to make small jewelry boxes- using 1/4" - 3/8"material. I find that my large table saw is a bit bulky for this detail work. Although I have made several jigs to have accurate miter corners, I wish that I had a small bench saw to do this intricate work. Something with a 6"-ish blade. I tried using my hand plane with shooting boards, would rather a precise machine. ANY IDEAS? Anyone use a smaller TS for detail work?

A Sliding Pegboard Wall
Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
The latest improvement to my small shop. I used bypass closet door hardware to make a place to hang often used tools. So far I like it!

My main focus in the shop is to make and repairmusical instruments. But it wasn't always so and other projects creep in on the side. Here I repair a piece of furniture and repurpose another.

Dovetail Drawers for new masterbed room dresser
Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
I am contemplating of doing some nice dovetail drawers for my custom hand made dresser that is going in my master bedroom. What wood would be good for these drawers? Is there a good plywood that would be good for dovetail drawers? if so, what type and whats the best thickness. I have done regular poplar before with no issue but these are going to be a big large since they are a drawer for a master bedroom dresser. Thanks in advance!
