Clock & More
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
Finished another quick clock nothing new except I needed lighter hands so spray painted the hands silver rather than white. The burl really popped with the poly on it.The last pick, however, brings me the most pride. Inspired to do better by fellow LJs, I went out and bought a new saw for my miter box. Man, the other blade was so old and dull. I decided to cut out future clock frames. I worked really slowly and carefully. The joints are the best I've ever done. Perfect? No. Did I employ a trick or two I read online. Sure. But I'm actually proud of these joints. I'll probably still glue on my cheats, but because I like the look, not because I'm covering anything shoddy.
