Walnut Computer Desk/Stand
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
We bought my wife a adjustable stand-up computer stand for her desk at work. She has decided it takes up too much of her desk top so she asked if I could build her a separate table to put it on. I had been covered up with other projects she decided needed to be done around the house so I jumped at a chance to put in some shop time. Maybe she took pity on me??? Had three 2×6x8 pieces of walnut I had been holding onto for the right project and decided it was their time. Pretty simple design with a couple of simple extra touches ( taped legs, “flutes” on the outside edges of the legs, cut outs on the apron boards and etc.) that only I will probably notice. Working within the available space requirements she gave me, it came in 36×27x 29. The top is 1 3/4” thick so it has some heft to it. Finished with clear gloss polyurethane.
