Anybody built a chainsaw holder ?
Furnished content. (from WoodNet.net)
I want to build a chainsaw holder that I can attach to the wall of my shop. All the holders that I see online are hanging the chainsaw vertically with the bar pointing toward the floor. This would be easy enough to build but my chainsaw will start to leak bar oil over time and I don't want to have oil dripping down onto the floor.
So I was thinking about building something out of 3/4 plywood that I can mount to the wall and have the chainsaw sitting horizontally as it does on the floor. This would allow me to put some type of tray under the engine of the saw to catch an oil that might eventually leak out. Has anyone ever built anything like this?
Thanks
