 Made from ambrosia maple. Door sits flush, just not pushed in all the way for picture. Minwax oil base stain and 2 coats of oil base poly to finish. I have found ambrosia to be tricky. I had some that I got a while back from one supplier and some more that I picked up recently. Made the drawer face out of the old stuff, used the exact same stain on it and it looked completely different, unusable together. Had to remake the face panel. Turned out great, dog hates it! She can no longer drag trash all over the house.
