My serpentine drawer front sideboard is getting close to done.I started this back in Januaryor Februaryand while I've enjoyed doing most of it (some parts were less fun than others) I will be lad to see it out of the shop. Anyway, it's finished nowexcept for the top, which still gets some nibs smoother ed out and another coat or 2 of varnish. I tried to make the lower doors using the same veneer I used on the drawer fronts, but opted instead to go with some solid cherry.....even though the color doesn't match that closely. I'll just have to wait for it all to darken, it will get close to matchingsome day.The bottom view is to show the serpentine of the top and drawer dividers, then the cabinet as it sits now.
