Ruler Stand For Adjusting The Height Of Table Saw Blades & Router Bits

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

Ruler Stand For Adjusting The Height Of Table Saw Blades & Router BitsWhile I was waiting for a finish to dry on a cabinet I'm building I was scrolling through Woodpecker's web sight and came across a one time tool designed by Gregory Paolini. It was a ruler with an adjustable rule stop called the Paolini Pocket Rule.
The ruler had the same end gauge as my 6 iGaging ruler. Here, I have made my version of it.I used hard maple, (any hardwood would work.)I cut 2 slots about 1/8+ apart, the same depth as the width of the ruler and drilled a hole for the thumb screw. Drill only to the flap. The one tab is so the screw doesn't damage the ruler.Cut the sloths in the direction of the grain to prevent the flap from breaking. It isn't as fast or as ridged as Paolini's 8 Woodpecker, but it will do until I get my own Woodpecker pocket tool.Gregory once said to me. Let's run down the hill and look at a tree.
And I said. Let's walk down and look at all of them.

My Second Wood Bowl

Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

My Second Wood BowlHere is a picture of the second bowl I turned on my lathe. I was really excited to see how it turned out but realized quickly that it is might thick, so perhaps it can be used as a helmet in rougher times! Always wanting constructive criticism if you have any.Next project is some more tool handles and hopefully a honeylocust mallet if I can find a log.
