Playhouse
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
Delivering the kids bench to our grandkids (see previous post) gave me an opportunity to finally complete their playhouse that I had started for them just before lockdown. I had started one for them at their previous property, but they moved before it was finished, so this one just kind of evolved from the various pieces I salvaged from that effort, along with the constraints of building directly on the solid bedrock of the Canadian Shield. The platform is about 12' x 8'; the playhouse itself is 8' x 5' and the tube slide is about 8' high. A fun build where precision is a little less critical, but the 3 and 6 year olds were always close by to offer advice on what was good (& bad) about the design as it came together. It was given final inspection and approval by the two new “owners” (grandkids) this afternoon.
