It's a "bloody" jewelry box
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
I made this box the first week in February, it's oak and bloodwood with a touch of turquoise. The bloodwood I purchased had some type of filler that I didn't like the look of, so I dug it out and used turquoise to add a little flare. I'm not sure if I want to do anything to the inside bottom of the box and tray, but if I do I think leather would look nice. When I was waxing the box I dropped it on the concrete floor and it landed on it's side and snapped off 2 of the feet. One was easy to fix where the repair would never be seen. The other one was a little harder to get it just right, but you really can't tell now that it has finish on it.
