Hopefully the last wood bowl.
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
This is one of the last bowls I'll be making. The side rings were excess that I cut off from other bowl bases. This one is for 'Stick in the Mud'. I'm hoping this is the last coat of varnish. I'm really tired of making these bowls. I am happy how this walnut looks. It's definitely going to be a one off project. I've made close to 80 of these and they have lost their allure.Just so you know I don't have a Lathe. I did these using a circle jig on my band saw. Honestly there's about 2 hours of sanding involved in a bowl this size. A stationary belt sander, Spindle sander and a palm sander. Guess that's why I've had enough bowl making.
