Dewalt planer dust collection cabinet
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
It's not always convenient to hook a large dust collection unit to all my tools. So, I built this cabinet after looking around on the web. Two drawers with a separating baffle in between make lighter weight emptying. It will require a little more work, as the chip ejection fan on this planer is so strong that it blows the drawers open just a little, allowing some sawdust to blow out.I think I'll try cutting a 4or 5 inch hole in the front and use a filter to ease the pressure without losing the sawdust.Anyone been through this? If you have, advice is appreciated.
