Had to buy some 12' 2 bys for some work in the basement and needed a way to get them Home…
Already had the 4” X 4” posts here, had to buy a dozen 2” X 4” X 8's and some carriage bolts to knock this thing together…
Used it to bring home 4-12', 3-10' and a couple of 8' the other day, couldn't even see it up there!
It's designed to come apart, the front and rear “assemblies” are connected to one another by only four bolts, and they weigh comparable to a pallet (not too bad)
Pressure treated was used through-out…Sadly, my drill gave up the ghost drilling the holes for the tie down spots…
