I'm a long term reader of this site and this is my first post but not my first project.I created a wooden ruler growth chart as a baby present for a friend. Since I'm home for the quarantine, I decided to make it more of a challenge. It's taken from an oak tree that I cut down in my backyard. Last summer, I used an alaskan chainsaw mill to make planks. I hand planed it smooth then drew the numbers and carved them with a new set of carving chisels. Some of the numbers look a little off but I suppose that gives it the handmade look!
