Walnut Tabouret
Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)

Walnut TabouretThis is my version of the Stickley No. 603 Tabouret almost exactly as drawn in the “Great Book of Shop Drawings for Craftsman Furniture” by Robert W. Lang. Oak would be more traditional than walnut, but I like walnut. I like the shape. I sanded to 600 grit and I used two coats of Watco tung oil, which seems more like a varnish oil combo in practice. Finishing is always the hardest part. I want to try one of the new hard wax oils next. I like this piece and I want to make more of them. I think a pair would make nice hifi speaker stands (Hint to the lovely wife).
