This was a fun little project, actually a belated Christmas gift hence the backdate!Made of walnut that's showing some sapwood, a couple thin strips of maple and the center section of padauk.
I find a thin coat of shellac will help keep the padauk from bleeding into the maple. Final finish is three coats of gloss lacquer.
Overall dimensions are 18 long and 12 in width.
