SMade these for some friends and wanted to see if I could make a secret compartment using the tray with magnets,To get to the secret area just turn the upper tray 180 and the magnets will grip the magnets with the removable lower tray. The box is 11 tall and 8.5 deep and 12 wide. (See pictures 3 and 4 ) I decided to use some cedar for the tray which I had never used on a project. Each tray bottom is bookmatched to try to have some grain feature.The drawers I could have done better on as this is my second attempt at small drawer application…. I decided to use Enduro Var Satin with a few coats of wax.
