Here is my first finished woodworking project.My wife has been asking for over a year to get a cabinet for the Trash and Recycling bins. We use large bins since we have five kids and accumulated a lot of trash, so instead of the flip down version I see everywhere I put the doors on slides. Used 3/4 plywood with Douglas Fir “butcher” block style top. I trimmed it with white oak and finished it with Boiled Linseed oil and poly. Painted the base to match the rest of the kitchen (next project)Learned a ton and cannot wait to start something else now…. I got the bug bad!!
