Quarantine teaching break
Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)
I needed a desk to hold a second monitor for teaching during this school year but I didn't want something that was going to be sitting around and open and be a one hit wonder. I was able to use pieces I had (including a messed up epoxy piece) to make this. It has a hinged front that folds down and opens up to be a desk revealing the second monitor.
After this school year, and this Covid craziness, is over I will take out the monitor and put a shelf inside. The space inside is about 4,25 wide, which is just big enough for most bottles of liquor. This will become a post quarantine liquor bar for parties and get togethers!
The desk is walnut, spalted maple, chill epoxy and black diamond pigments, and a spray lacquer
