This is my rendition of the Oregon State University mascot Benny the Beaver. He is 5 inches tall, carved from basswood, and painted with acrylics. I was raised about 30 miles from OSU and was all signed up to go there after I graduated from high school. During the summer, I was offered a scholarship by the Navy to go elsewhere, so I did.Claude
