New Favorite Push blockThis push block took a bit longer to complete than I would care to admit for a push block but it was definitely worth it. It is made out of 2 pieces of 3/4” ply laminated together. I got the design from a wood smith article (https://www.woodsmith.com/article/table-saw-push-block/), however after all the effort it took to make the thing, I decided to add on a replaceable sole out of 1/4” hard board that its attach with double face tape that after the bottom becomes too cut up it can be removed and replaced. The bolt on the back is ran through a threaded insert and allows the hardboard heel to be slid up and down to adjust for stock of varying thickness. I rounded over all the edges with my router and then finished it off with a course rasp to shape it a bit more comfortably.
