Marine Varnish - needs a good baseMarine Varnish needs a good base to prevent cracking due to variation in timber moisture and because of weather, or so I'm told…We had an old Oregon spar which needed some TLC.So we used WEST SYSTEM Epoxy Resin 105 an Hardener 207Here's a short video of what we did – https://youtu.be/LcMhJhdEl4IAnd here's the finished product – ready for a coat or two of marine varnish!
