Our company remodeled a floor in a very old building in North Carolina. When removing the baseboards that were painted chocolate brown I was shocked to find it was Mahogany . I got as many pieces as I could on my pickup truck. The next day all the rest had been removed and hauled away to the landfill. This table is the last bit of that beautiful mahogany. I made this table for my wife for Christmas.
