Live edge Pecan Slab was laying around the shop for months, it was bowed in the center a little too much too flatten it would have been too thin in the center of the slab if I leveled it the full length of the board. So in order to salvage the slab I cut it in half, flattened each half to make it straight again. I followed up with a Black Resin river thru the center and added a steel base to raise the table 18” off the floor. I wet sanded the Resin to 800 grit and polish it to a nice sheen.
