Hi all! Sorry I've been gone for a while… Life, ya know.I wanted to make something for my honey for Valentine's day, and I picked up a piece of Juniper burl that had been kicking around the shop for years. I made this vase and was very pleased! I gave it to her with a couple of paper flowers in it that I made from and old chemistry textbook.
It took most of my skill set to make it – swirling grain, bark inclusions, and varying wood densities made it a real challenge. It's about 5” tall.
