This is one of the last bowls I'll be making. The side rings were excess that I cut off from other bowl bases. This one is for 'Stick in the Mud'. I'm hoping this is the last coat of varnish. I'm really tired of making these bowls.I am happy how this walnut looks. It's definitely going to be a one off project. I've made close to 80 of these and they have lost their allure.Just so you know I don't have a Lathe. I did these using a circle jig on my band saw. Honestly there's about 2 hours of sanding involved in a bowl this size. A stationary belt sander, Spindle sander and a palm sander. Guess that's why I've had enough bowl making.
