Our daughter Sydney asked me to help make something for her other dad that she had seen on the internet. She was five when I married her mother, and has been a daughter ever since. Her dad re-married and she now has two half sisters.Syd came out to the shop and went through a lot of wood before she found the perfect piece. I tried to help her design the graphic in Corel Draw, but could not figure out how to cut out the part where the names would be. I had to give my son a call and he figured it out for us. Syd picked the fonts and the sizing of the names.The wood is a piece of curly red oak. When we lasered in the names the letters took on a life of their own. It looks even better in real life.We are so very happy with the way it turned out. You just do whatever it takes to make your children happy.
