We recently moved into a house that did not have a coat closet. My wife fussed about having to put guest coats in our spare bedroom because she would have to make sure that cat hair had been removed before they put their coats on the bed. So she asked for something that could be used to hang up coats near the front door. She also wanted a place to put shoes, handbags, hats, etc. So I built this. Cherry and Sepele with ebony plugs over screw holes. Except for some dados, all the joinery is screws.
