First boxBack about 50 years ago I was slowly starting up my wood tools collection. Had a very inexpensive table saw, A craftsman, right from the sears store. The one I'm still using today. Darn, should have taken a picture of it! A real old friend.
Anyway, was thinking of Van and his growth. The challenges to the new wood worker. So expensive to get started these days.
Wanted to show what I did without skills or knowledge. No fancy or precise corners. I just lapped the corners and used the brass nails as a feature. They have lasted the years.
Couple more boxes in my hourglass post, in my projects. Page 7. Sorry, don't know how to transfer pictures.
Anyway, great looking wood, well sanded will make up for lack of skills, sometimes…lol…
I like to put felt on the bottom of the boxes. On these I used the felt on the lids too. Makes them fit snug.
