When we decided to move from Tulsa to Oklahoma City, We hired a Realtor whose daughter lived in our neighbourhood. When it came time to discuss fees. I asked her if she would be interested in Bartering. She said Whatcha Got!! I told her I made custom furniture and asked her what she wanted. She said her Daughter wanted a Farm Table. I said send me a picture of what she wants.This is the picture she sent me.
This is what I built for her.
We Both got what we wanted. She got a Table and I got my house sold with no Realtor fees.!!!!Table is 3×7' Made from Douglas Fir 2×6's that I got from a construction site Dumpster. Custom stain I made by mixing various colors of stain. I used a Pre-Stain to keep it from blotching then finished with 4 coats of Pre-Cat Satin Lacquer.
