My new F-clamp rack, made of solid red oak and an oak veneered plywood back. It doesn't have a finish yet because it's still to cold out to put one on but in about a month I plan to hit it with some semi gloss lacquer.It may seem like a bit of overkill to make a shop project out of a solid hardwood but, at the time, I happened to have a lot of oak on hand and plywood had close to tripled so I just decided to make it out of the solid hardwood instead of ply, it wasn't really that much more in cost.It is also hanging on a French cleat.
