I had a dust collector with a dust bag.The dust bag gave away more fine dust than it trapped, so I figured I needed something better and build myself a cyclone.
I bought:
- a 2hp fan
- a hepa-filter
- a 7mm sheet of sheet metal
And I had some scrap wood as well as a old garbage dumpstrr from my parents.I shaped the cyclone, buildt lid and stand from wood and connected it all.
The cyclone was painted with hammer-paint.The result was greit. Good suction and there is almost no dust at all that gets through the cyclone and into the hepa filter!I'm very happy with the result!
