Jeremiah and I had our last regular weekly shop class tonight. Our finale was learning more about what a lathe can do. He learned all the parts of a lathe and some of the various chisels. And he watched me make a few tops. Before he got there, I turned the “Battle Top Arena.” Tops are Hard Maple with no finish and the arena is Poplar. Arena: 1.75” x 11.25” The pictures are of him showing everyone from the lady's meeting his new project.
