Air Plant Holder - Brisbane Box Wood
Furnished content.
(from Lumberjocks.com)
We planted a Brisbane Box tree in our front yard several years ago that never did very well – it never fully died, but never really grew. We finally gave up on it and I pulled it from the ground last year (I literally pulled it out of the ground in 30 seconds). Since it was such a terrible tree I was compelled to make it do something useful for once. So I took the root ball and about 5 inches of trunk, flipped that upside down, and bored out a pocket in the middle to display this air plant my daughter got me for my birthday. That dumb tree is finally beautiful.
