It was mentioned I didn't have any of my bows in my projects. I guess I never though of posting bows on a woodworking site, but they are all wood, so I guess that makes sense. The first picture is a White Oak, Ash Backed Bow with Bloodwood Handle and Power Lam I just finished. The second is the handle section. 50#@28” drawNext is a white oak with walnut back reflex deflex bow. Again 50#@28” drawA reflex deflex in the formNext is one of my favorites, a walnut backed with maple. 64#@28”draw, although at that weight these old joints creak when I shoot it. It will likely end up going to someone younger.Last one is a 3 piece take down. 50#@28”More of my diy stuff at ( plenty more bows arrows and other cool stuff )
https://www.diy.timetestedtools.netI still have some bows that were made back in the 80s and 90s. Some I can't remember if I made them or my father did. Some we built together. About a year ago I decided to give the bow and arrow making another run. I'm still at it.
