Shed in the back yard for finishing and currently wood storage.
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
Wanted a separate space for spraying and finishing the projects. I was able to pick up some salvaged 2 by 6's in the desert of redwood that was once decking for a pool. I also got the framing from a removal job I did inside a garage so started out with part framed. I milled the redwood I salvaged to 1-inch lap boards for siding and 1/4 inch shingles for other sheds. I wanted it to fit the backyard at the time. Added an attic to store milled wood from logs, but since found that boards are heavy am looking at another solution. Thought it would be a good project to increase my skills. Some of the pics were of another shed closed off under the eves to store all the gardening and other garage items so the two-car garage could be just the shop. This was mostly during the downturn, and now the prices are skyrocketing in the area. I look at so many of the posts on Lumberjocks with big acres of land. Finally starting to get into building furniture for real with all the milled lumber I have so the idea of starting again on a shop doesn't appeal to me. Love the acres and the ability to build a bigger shop and possibly a Kiln.
