The back story of the bank is a sad story of property crimes. Recently, my niece's home was burglarized. The Jack wagon crook smashed my great nephew's piggy bank for a whopping few dollars in change.So, I asked – what type of bank would the lad like? Rainbow was the answer.So, this is what I came up with. I am leaving it up to him to pick the colors and do the painting. A bit of ownership is always good.The front quarter is 1965 and the back quarter is 2016, thus making a birth year connection.PS
