This is a reproduction Eli Terry – Pillar and Scroll Clock. The case is new and the original wooden movement and dial date back to the early 1820's. The tablet is “Emoglise” painted or reverse painted with a gold leaf boarder. Wood for the case is Sapelle from South America which closely simulates old growth Mahogany.The last picture shows the wooden movement.
