Line 'Em Up Puzzles
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
These “Line 'Em Up” puzzles were designed by Steve Good and shown on his “Scrollsaw Workshop” website. They were made from re-purposed damaged cabinet doors and drawer sides. They were Laser Engraved using a NEJE Laser Master that was also previewed on Steve Good's website. The NEJE Laser Engraver is affordable and really opens up new craft possibilities. The sides were cut on a table saw and the center cavities were cut using Steve's pattern with a band saw and scroll saw. The 3 pieces were then glued together, sanded and finished. The last 2 pictures are jigs that were made to help mass produce the puzzles. One jig allows you to repeat cut the base pieces and the other allows you to cut off 5 1/2” long pegs quickly. The drop offs from the first cut are used to make pegs for the next puzzle. The peg sides are then routed using a 1/16” round over router bit. These were made to be give-a ways but if demand picks up, I may try to sell some. Thanks for viewing this project.
