Klaatu Barada Nikto
Furnished content. (from Lumberjocks.com)
LJ Candy Frye helped me to remember that I had indeed made a walnut spaceship with copper leafing. This one is smaller- about 3” in diameter and, with the finial, about 5” tall. It originally started out to have a small entry hole and just a finial topping but I messed up hollowing it. A large part of the top broke away. Cleaned that up and then made a lid for the larger opening. Used a Sorby texturing tool to do the spiral work. Then added the copper leafing. Gloss poly finish. Thanks for looking!
