My son wanted to start collecting albums and tended to move frequently while in grad school. This design made of simple 2X4s folds flat. Albums on storage shelf kept sliding flat so added the grooved insert with the stop pieces that fit into the appropriate grooves. No fine furniture it definitely offered the functions he needed.
