Finally Made Myself a Mallet

Well, I did it…. I made myself a mallet. Not particularly special, except to me. And the design isn't unique either, but I believe I built it well and it'll be useful for a long time. I made this entirely from scraps and cutoffs I had laying around. But what was cool, was that I could remember the project where nearly every scrap came from. (Not exactly sure what that says about me, however.) The mallet's head is made from two pieces of QS white oak with some jatoba sandwiched between them. The handle is made from QS sycamore. And I used some small bits of walnut to secure the head to the handle. I finished it with BLO.
