Had the pleasure of building a dining table for my best friend. My first as well. 9' x 47 Babinga. Got very lucky and found just over 9' by 20 boards and a 3rd 9' x 9. Then got busy with the process of jointing, planing and sanding. Did I mention there was a lot of sanding? Finish is Rubio Monocoat Pure.
Base was purchased and took almost 2 months to come in. Very modern feel.
