I've been needing quality picture frames, so when my buddy (a bear guide) came to me with his photo on metal, it was a great excuse to get tooled up for making frames. The metal edges of the print were damaged in shipping so he needed something to cover them.It was surprisingly easy to make and since delivering it last week I've got orders for 10 more! I used the table saw for the female ends and routed the male ends and chamfers. Solid white oak with Ipe plugs at bridal joints, early American stain, and satin urethane.
