Sometimes 600mg of vitamin i just doesn't do it after a day on the mountain. What's needed is a long, hot soak. Rubber ducky? Check. Balao-class submarine? Check. LJs? Check. Muscle soreness just melts away. The idea came from a couple sources on Pinterest. The wood from my dwindling, but still strong supply of Bali teak. The handles were from an old project never built. The finish was new for me – a marine gloss which i thought would be suitable for the bath. The can said not to dilute, so i didn't, but that meant a fairly thick (in my experience) application, and a 14 hour dry time (shortened to 8 when i put it under a ceramic heater on low power – i never used the heater when i wasn't nearby). Keeping each layer dust free was also a challenge. LJs with more marine experience, I welcome your advise.Teak. Copper handles. Rustoleum Marine Gloss.By hand.
