Sycamore Jewellery Box

 Just Finished the jewellery box for a friend involved with the Girl Guides. Didn't turn out too bad although I wish I had finished the Sycamore a bit darker, but it should darken a bit naturally after a while.
I inlaid the Girl Guides logo on the top in dyed blue Tulip and the rest of the box is figured Sycamore veneer with Wenge edges. The tray is Sycamore with Wenge splines and I found a girl guide badge on eBay for 50p which I inlaid into the tray, helps lift it out. It's all lined out in blue velvet, hope you like it….
